Nike Berlin
Reimagining an Iconic Flagship Store
Where sport meets Berlin culture.
Nike’s Berlin flagship on Kurfürstendamm represents one of the brand’s most important retail destinations in Europe. Following an extensive redevelopment, the ambition was to transform the store into far more than a place to shop, creating a destination where sport, innovation and community come together within a flagship environment designed for the future. The project brought together immersive storytelling, sustainable thinking and category-led retail experiences, while celebrating Berlin’s unique sporting culture and creative identity.
Working within a complex, multi-disciplinary programme, every element needed to integrate seamlessly with the wider architectural vision while meeting Nike’s exceptionally high standards for quality, precision and execution. From feature installations to environmental graphics and bespoke retail elements, every detail contributed to an experience designed to inspire movement and connection.
Built to Nike’s exacting standards
Rizlly supported the engineering, production and installation of a wide range of bespoke retail elements throughout the flagship, helping translate Nike’s design vision into a buildable, high-quality retail environment.
Our scope included feature installations, branded storytelling elements, environmental graphics, illuminated displays and custom retail components, all produced and installed to integrate seamlessly with the wider store concept.
Working alongside Nike and the wider project team, every element was delivered with the precision expected of one of the brand’s most significant European flagship stores.
Complex in Scale. Detailed in Execution.
Designed around the idea of movement, innovation and community, the Berlin flagship combines immersive product storytelling with spaces that encourage interaction beyond traditional retail.
Large-scale graphics sat alongside illuminated signage, rubber flooring, painted stencils, lightboxes and bespoke elements, each requiring its own materials, production methods and installation approach.
One of the most distinctive pieces was the custom 3D Nike Goddess. Sections of wood flooring from the previous store were repurposed within the sculpture and combined with 3D-printed components, marble and cement-effect finishes, giving existing material a completely new role within the rebuilt flagship.
Across the wider project, Rizlly coordinated production and installation through multiple phases, ensuring very different elements ultimately felt part of one store.
The scale was significant. The real work was in getting all the individual details right.
Where engineering meets possibility.
The reopened Nike Berlin flagship stands as one of the brand’s most advanced retail environments in Europe, balancing innovation, sustainability and community within a destination designed to evolve with future campaigns and retail experiences.
For Rizlly, the project reflects the value of long-term collaboration, technical expertise and meticulous execution. Delivered as part of a multi-installation programme, the flagship showcases how engineering, production and installation come together to support ambitious retail concepts at the highest level.
