Fred Perry Liverpool One
Fred Perry’s established store was ready for a new chapter.
Reimagining an established space.
After years of trading at Liverpool ONE, Fred Perry’s established store was ready for a new chapter. Rather than starting with an empty space, the brief was to refurbish the existing location and introduce the brand’s latest retail design language through an entirely new collection of furniture, fixtures and branded elements.
The challenge for Rizlly was to deliver a noticeable transformation while maintaining the clarity and restraint associated with Fred Perry. New materials, finishes and digital elements needed to work together as one environment, giving the store a fresher, more contemporary character without losing the familiarity of an established location.
At the heart of the refurbishment was an unmistakable piece of brand identity: the Laurel Wreath. Alongside new fixtures and large-format digital screens, it provided an opportunity to make Fred Perry’s identity part of the physical architecture of the store.
From concept to completion.
Rizlly was responsible for the engineering, production and installation of the new furniture, fixtures and branding elements throughout the refurbished Liverpool ONE store.
Our scope included the bespoke Laurel Wreath feature wall, large-format digital screens, new retail furniture and fixtures, together with the updated colours, materials and finishes required for Fred Perry’s latest store concept.
Working from the approved creative direction, our engineering team developed each element into a production-ready solution before moving through manufacture and final installation.
Where brand meets architecture.
The refurbishment introduced a new fixture language throughout the store, replacing the previous environment with furniture and branded elements developed to Fred Perry’s latest specifications.
Rizlly’s involvement began with engineering, translating the design intent into buildable solutions and resolving the construction, materials and detailing required for manufacture. From there, the elements moved through production and final installation, allowing our team to maintain consistency from technical development through to the finished store.
One of the defining features is the Laurel Wreath Wall, taking one of Fred Perry’s most recognisable symbols and translating it into a permanent architectural statement.
Rather than relying solely on conventional signage, the feature gives the brand identity a physical presence within the space.
Large-format digital screens add a contrasting layer, providing a flexible platform for changing campaigns and product storytelling. Around these hero elements, the new furniture, fixtures, colours and finishes create a cohesive backdrop for the collections.
The result is a refurbishment where the individual components feel considered as one environment, with the technical detailing supporting rather than competing with Fred Perry’s restrained visual language.
A new chapter, built on heritage.
The completed refurbishment gives Fred Perry Liverpool ONE a renewed identity while keeping the store firmly connected to the brand customers already know.
New furniture and finishes provide the foundation, digital screens introduce flexibility for evolving campaigns, and the Laurel Wreath Wall creates a memorable focal point rooted directly in Fred Perry’s visual heritage.
For Rizlly, the project demonstrates the value of combining engineering, production and installation under one roof, taking each element from technical development through to its final position in store.
